5 Blue Crab Trap kit pack

Due to the large cubic volume, shipping costs are higher than the cost of a finished blue crab pot. Your solution is Ketcham's  U_BUILD EM "kit pack" of 5 blue crab traps (2 finished trap photos at left).  We  sized the kit traps slightly smaller at 18 X18 X 24 than the than the standard commercial trap to maximize your saving on shipping costs.  We have however maintained the same fish-ability.  All the wire pieces are pre- cut to size, all your necessary fasteners, parts, and needed hand tools are in your kit. The 5 kits ship at less cost than the charges for sending out 1 finished trap plus you save by doing it yourself.  Instructions included.

24"X 24"X 21" cube shaped classic Chesapeake blue crab trap 1½" vinyl clad galvanized steel Ocean Mesh® mesh and Ketcham's Marine Screen® small mesh  bait stack in the center. We keep these blue crab pots in stock.  Rope and buoys for your blue crab trap can be included too.  All Ketcham Traps are in compliance with current Massachusetts Area 2 regulations. 24" roll wire available in both square and hex mesh. If you are a commercial fisherman and will need ten or more rolls to build up your gear give us a call.  We may have sale items, overstock, or off grade bargains for your operation.

EEL & GREEN CRAB COMBO

12"X12"X23" eel trap Manufactured in 1/2"X1/2" or 1/2"X1" wire mesh vinyl-clad Marine Screen®  in heavy duty 16 gauge galvanized steel and  hi grade solid stainless fasteners.  Catches and holds eels for bait or commercial sales. The eel pot rear door folds around the trap body on 3 sides so the slippery guys don't wiggle out.  This long funnel design works as well on green crabs for bait.  Used widely in aquaculture for predator control

TOP ENTRY GREEN CRAB

Bottom crab pot is a classic Cuttyhunk top entry Green Crab Trap.  Need bait for tautog aka blackfish or stripers this one is for you.  Green Crabs are walkers, not swimmers like Blue crabs.  This top entry is same basic design concept used by the southern commercial fishermen on the stone crabs of Florida.
